It's very simple. The do it yourself kit consists of a small container, made of glass, metal, or plastic, which is usually installed under the hood. You fill it with distilled water and a low cost household catalyst (causes electrical current). The device gets vacuum and 12 volts from the engine, and produces HHO gas (Hydrogen+Oxygen).
